Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous support and ensuring their comfort during transit. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to follow designated routes and reach destinations promptly. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met; report any issues promptly. Communicate clearly with clients regarding pick-up times, routes, and any delays; maintain professional client interactions at all times. Handle heavy lifting when necessary to assist passengers with mobility devices or luggage while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and client interactions for record-keeping and compliance purposes. Qualifications Valid driver's license appropriate for operating passenger vehicles; clean driving record required. Experience with GPS navigation systems and familiarity with local driving routes. Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to passenger vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients. Experience in medical transportation or working with vulnerable populations is a plus. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers, clients, and team members.
