•6:30 PM About Us Pathways Treatment Center is a growing substance use and behavioral health treatment provider committed to helping individuals achieve lasting recovery. We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and safety-focused Transportation Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to assist clients with transportation and support services throughout their treatment journey. Position Summary The Transportation BHT is responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments, employment, court appearances, pharmacy visits, recovery meetings, and other approved destinations. This role also provides supervision, support, and client engagement while ensuring a positive and professional experience during transportation. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, professional, and enjoys working directly with individuals in recovery. Essential Responsibilities Safely transport clients to scheduled appointments, work, pharmacies, court appearances, recovery meetings, and other approved destinations. Ensure clients are transported in a safe, respectful, and timely manner. Maintain accurate transportation schedules and logs. Communicate transportation updates and scheduling changes to supervisors and clinical staff. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and overall readiness. Assist with client admissions, discharges, and transportation-related coordination. Provide appropriate support, encouragement, supervision, and redirection to clients during transportation and community outings. Assist staff with facility operations and client support activities when transportation duties are not required. Document transportation activities according to company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times. Respond appropriately to client emergencies and report incidents to supervisors. Serve as a positive representative of Pathways Treatment Center in the community. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation to and from work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work professionally with individuals experiencing substance use and mental health challenges. Ability to obtain required state clearances and certifications. Preferred Experience working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, social services, transportation, or customer service. CPR/First Aid certification. Previous Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) experience. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and drive for extended periods. Ability to assist clients entering and exiting vehicles when appropriate. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($18
