We invite you to join our dedicated team at Veney Medical Transportation Team as a NEMT Transport Driver. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our clients. This is an opportunity to make a significant difference in the New Jersey communities who rely on our services for their medical transportation needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers, wheelchairs and walkers in a safe and efficient manner to medical appointments. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles to transport passengers to their designated locations. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations during transit. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding. Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, and passenger counts. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality. Assist with lifting and loading/unloading of wheelchairs and walkers as necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues that arise during transport. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle at all times. Qualifications
