Would you like a great, new challenge to help others? If so, We Pick U Up Transportation is the place for you! We provide Wheelchair Non-Emergency Medical Transportation for folks going to all types of medical appointments. We service Broome, Chenango, Delaware & Tioga Counties. Responsibilities:
Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments and facilities. Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with boarding and disembarking vehicles. Utilize shuttle driving skills to navigate various routes efficiently. Maintain vehicles in good condition through regular inspections and basic maintenance. Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff to ensure a smooth transportation experience.
Qualifications:
Non-CDL Class C (+ Passenger Endorsement) and a clean driving record Previous experience in customer service roles Commercial driving experience preferred: paratransit or school bus driving experience a plus. If you are unlicensed and passionate to help, We Pick U Up may help you with the licensing processes depending on experience level. Excellent communication skills for interacting with passengers Familiarity with maintenance checks and basic vehicle upkeep Ability to comply with DOT regulations, such as the DOT Physical Ability to maintain a -company provided- online driver safety course every 2 years.
