GCC Transportation is a specialized transportation service dedicated to safely and reliably transporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and adults with mental illness. Our mission is to provide dependable, respectful, and person-centered transportation that supports individuals in accessing programs, services, and community opportunities. We are committed to safety, consistency, and professionalism, ensuring every individual we transport is treated with dignity and care. Our transportation services operate 7 days a week, providing door-to-door transportation at no cost to service recipients.

SIGN-ON BONUS

$2,500 after 6 months with no incidents/accidents (Non-CDL) $3,500 after 6 months with no incidents/accidents (CDL Drivers) As a Transporter/Driver, you will safely transport individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities between their residences, Gateway programs, and community locations. When assigned as a Matron, you will also escort individuals to ensure safety during transport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Safely transport individuals to and from Gateway, residences, medical appointments, and community locations Ensure proper sign-in/sign-out procedures during transport Serve as an escort (Matron) when assigned Assist individuals during walking or transport non-ambulatory individuals using wheelchairs Follow hand-to-hand drop-off procedures when applicable Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety Complete all required documentation (route sheets, fuel logs, vehicle inspections) Complete all assigned work through Limosys and other electronic routing platforms Follow all Gateway Counseling Center driving protocols and NYS driving laws Ensure the safety of all individuals and staff during transport Deliver messages, mail, medical records, and other items as needed Report to assigned routes and vehicles on time

Qualifications:

Must have prior work experience transporting individuals in a professional capacity. Must have a clean driving abstract/MVR with no violations or infractions. CDL Class B with
