Summary:
The ACHP Mobile Driver typically operates a vehicle to transport medical supplies, and/or healthcare professionals while coordinating the delivery of patient supplies with the Pharmacist, Hospital Coordinators, Staff Nurses and Patient Families. Their role is essential in ensuring that individuals who need medical care have reliable supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for coordinating the delivery of supplies with the Pharmacist, Hospital Coordinator, Staff Nurses, and Patient Families. 2. Maintains adequate inventory of supplies and equipment to meet patient needs. 3. Ensures that supplies and equipment orders are delivered in the most efficient and cost-effective way. 4. Maintains the delivery van in good working order and obeys all applicable driving laws while driving the van. 5. Other duties as required.
Other information:
Technical Expertise 1. An excellent driving record is required. 2. Travel and a valid Ohio driver's license is required. 3. Experience working with all levels of the organization is preferred. 4. Experience in health care preferred. Education and Experience 1.
Education:
High school, diploma or equivalent required. 2.
License:
Valid Ohio Driver's License and CDL-B required. 3.
Years of relevant experience:
Minimum of 3 years required.
