Are you a CNA looking for a different way to make a difference? Do you enjoy helping people, providing one-on-one attention, and making sure residents get where they need to go safely and comfortably? Cedarbrook Senior CareRehabilitation is seeking a Regular Part-Time Transportation Aide to join our Clinics Department at our Allentown facility. This is a great opportunity for a CNA who enjoys working directly with residents, assisting with mobility and transfers, and providing compassionate support throughout their appointments and daily activities.

COMPENSATIONSCHEDULE
$17.73/hour Regular Part-Time Monday-Friday Must work 24 hours per week Pennsylvania CNA certification required Allentown location
WHAT YOU'LL DO!
As a Transportation Aide in our Clinics Department, you will play an important role in safely transporting and supporting Cedarbrook residents.
Your responsibilities may include:
Pick up residents from their residential units and transport them to scheduled appointments, therapy, and other destinations Assist residents using wheelchairs, stretchers/litters, walkers, and other mobility equipment Accompany residents to medical appointments, therapy, and other activities Assist with transfers to and from beds, chairs, wheelchairs, and other equipment Safely return residents to their rooms following appointments or activities Escort residents to appointments in a variety of medical settings outside the facility Schedule resident appointments and complete required appointment paperwork Communicate with appropriate personnel when a resident is unable to attend a scheduled appointment Deliver resident charts, progress notes, memoranda, and other paperwork throughout the facility Prepare equipment and furnishings for treatments, meetings, and other uses Clean, maintain, and properly care for transportation and other equipment Perform other related duties as assigned

Enjoys working one-on-one with residents Is compassionate, patient, and dependable Can safely assist with resident transfers and mobility Communicates effectively with residents, families, and coworkers Is comfortable working in medical appointment settings Can recognize potential safety concerns during transportation Works well independently while remaining part of a team Takes pride in providing safe, respectful, and reliable service
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position involves active physical work and requires the ability to: Stand for extended periods Bend, push, pull, and maneuver equipment Assist residents with transfers and transportation Lift a minimum of 40 pounds to waist level without restriction Safely support and maneuver residents with physical limitations
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Education equivalent to completion of the 10th grade Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification (CNA) - required and must be maintained Six to twelve months of experience working with individuals with mental or physical limitations OR an equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience Full job description and additional position details will be provided during the interview process.
