You'll be responsible for delivering orders using your personal or company vehicle, managing cash payments daily, and maintaining excellent communication with our team and customers. Responsibilities Safely operate your personal vehicle or company-provided box truck, ensuring timely delivery of pizza orders to customers. Follow designated routes efficiently, adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards at all times. Handle cash payments from customers accurately and securely, providing correct change when needed. Load and unload deliveries with proper manual handling practices, including lifting heavy boxes safely. Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when interacting with customers during deliveries. Keep track of daily cash collected and report earnings according to company procedures. Assist in warehouse operations or moving tasks if required, including manual handling of materials and equipment such as pallet jacks or material handling tools. Qualifications Previous delivery driver experience is preferred, especially with delivery driving in busy environments. Experience operating a box truck or commercial vehicle is a plus; a valid driver's license is required. Familiarity with warehouse operations, manual handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices. Knowledge of traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations for commercial driving. Ability to operate mobile devices for navigation, communication, and reporting purposes. Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor during interactions with clients. Comfortable with manual transmission vehicles or vans used for deliveries; experience with material handling equipment like pallet jacks is advantageous.
