Job Summary Join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver and play a vital role in providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals requiring non-emergency medical assistance. Duties Safely operate shuttle buses, limousines, or personal vehicles in accordance with state transportation regulations and company policies. Transport clients to medical appointments, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other designated locations with punctuality and professionalism. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support for those with mobility challenges or special needs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met; report any issues promptly. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel use, and passenger details for compliance and record-keeping purposes. Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and healthcare providers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns efficiently. Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading mobility aids or luggage while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Qualifications Valid Class F Endorsement Driver's License CPR Certified Clean driving record Pass a national background check, drug, and alcohol test Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, bus driver, or in similar commercial driving roles such as limousine or school bus driving. Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards related to commercial driving and paratransit services. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, healthcare staff, and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks associated with vehicle maintenance or passenger assistance. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety at all times.
