Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading, unloading, and handling items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Ensure safe lifting practices when moving heavy or bulky goods, adhering to workplace weight handling guidelines and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Support the delivery process by helping to navigate route driving and ensuring timely arrivals at customer locations Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally, explaining delivery procedures, and addressing any questions or concerns Safely load and unload items from box trucks or vans while adhering to manual transmission operation protocols when applicable Use mobile devices to communicate with dispatchers, update delivery statuses, and document any issues or incidents during deliveries Maintain a clean and organized work environment during warehouse operations and material handling activities Requirements Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Experience in commercial driving, including box truck or van driving, is highly desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is a plus Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and adherence to traffic regulations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while following safe lifting practices Familiarity with manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to operate mobile devices for route updates and communication purposes Knowledge of DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace is advantageous Join us in delivering not just products but memorable experiences!
