Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and reliable full-time drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in paratransit and/or non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT). Our mission is to provide safe, dependable transportation services for individuals with disabilities and mobility challenges. Job Description:
As an NEMT Driver, your primary responsibility will be transporting patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, nursing facilities, and other approved destinations. You will assist passengers as needed, ensuring their safety, dignity, and comfort throughout each trip.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to transport passengers in a timely and professional manner Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including operating wheelchair lifts and properly securing mobility devices Ensure passengers are safely secured before transport Provide excellent customer service and promptly address client concerns Follow assigned routes and schedules; communicate delays or issues as needed Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper operation Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly Accurately complete trip logs, mileage reports, and required documentation Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Qualifications:
Previous experience in paratransit, NEMT, limousine, or shuttle driving preferred Valid driver's license with F endorsement and a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment and random drug screenings Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Physical Requirements:
Ability to assist passengers in and out of the vehicle safely Ability to sit, stand, bend, and drive for extended periods Ability to lift and secure mobility equipment as needed If you are a safety-conscious driver with strong customer service skills and a passion for helping others, we encourage you to apply and become a valued member of our team.
