Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while on the road. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including vans, shuttles, and buses, to transport passengers or goods. Communicate effectively with passengers, ensuring a pleasant travel experience. Maintain vehicles in good working condition by performing regular inspections and reporting any issues. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, especially those with special needs or mobility challenges. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Perform heavy lifting as required when loading or unloading goods. Experience Previous experience in school bus driving, shuttle driving, or as a delivery driver is preferred. Familiarity with paratransit services is a plus. Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. Experience in maintaining vehicles and performing routine checks is advantageous.
