Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver, where you will play a vital role in providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services to clients requiring non-emergency medical assistance. Your primary responsibility will be to operate passenger vehicle ensuring timely and comfortable journeys for individuals with mobility challenges or medical appointments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on our community by delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to all transportation regulations and safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vehicles including vans, shuttle buses, and other client-specific transportation modes on local routes. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous and respectful customer service throughout each trip. Follow GPS navigation systems and predefined routes to ensure punctual arrivals at scheduled destinations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to maintain safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness. Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during every shift. Handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility devices or luggage, ensuring safe manual handling practices are followed. Must be compassionate to clients with medical issues. Qualifications Must be at 23 years old. Prior experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur driving is highly preferred but not required. Valid driver's license appropriate for operating passenger vehicles such as vans or shuttle buses. Demonstrated knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes. Experience with medical transportation services or paratransit operations is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients and team members. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently while assisting passengers or managing luggage. Knowledge of traffic regulations, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance requirements for passenger vehicles. Clean background. Good driving record. Must pass drug test. Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 60.0 per week
