Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and respectful Driver for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring a comfortable and respectful experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, excellent customer service skills, and a caring attitude to support our clients' needs. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to transport patients to medical appointments, hospitals, or other destinations. Provide friendly and respectful assistance to passengers, ensuring their comfort and dignity throughout the journey. Assist patients with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle as needed, including helping with mobility aids if applicable. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting any issues. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of passengers and others on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical staff, and patients to coordinate transportation schedules. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transportation. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Prior experience in non-emergency medical transportation or a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Friendly, respectful demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
