NEMT Driver (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Vital Path Transportation Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time $14 - $16 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Paid training On-the-job training Qualifications Customer communication Driver's License Patient interaction Full Job Description We are looking for dependable, compassionate, and professional Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers to join our growing team. As an NEMT Driver, you will provide safe, reliable transportation for ambulatory and wheelchair-bound patients to and from medical appointments, dialysis, rehabilitation, hospitals, nursing facilities, and other healthcare destinations. Our drivers play an important role in helping patients access the care they need while treating every passenger with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport ambulatory and wheelchair-bound patients to and from medical appointments.
  • Operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles and safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices.
  • Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and entering healthcare facilities as needed.
  • Provide courteous, professional, and compassionate customer service.
  • Complete trip documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep vehicles clean and well-maintained.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional.
  • Ability to safely assist passengers with mobility needs.
  • Previous experience in NEMT, wheelchair transport, patient transport, healthcare transportation, or customer service is a plus but not required.
Pay & Benefits:
  • $14.00-$16.00 per hour, based on experience and clean driving record.
