Background:
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), Medical Transportation, Patient Transportation, Healthcare, Transportation, or Logistics American Wheel Transportation is looking for a reliable and compassionate Driver to provide safe and professional non-emergency medical transportation services to patients and clients across the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. This role is ideal for a responsible and dependable driver who is committed to patient safety, excellent customer service, and providing a comfortable transportation experience for individuals traveling to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities. Responsibilities
Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, healthcare facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other approved destinations.
Assist passengers with safe entry and exit from the vehicle when required.
Follow assigned schedules, routes, and transportation instructions while maintaining punctuality.
Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Maintain accurate trip records and provide professional, compassionate service to passengers at all times. Requirements
Must be 25 years of age or older with a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Previous professional driving, NEMT, medical transportation, healthcare, transportation, or logistics experience is preferred.
Ability to safely assist elderly individuals, patients, and individuals with mobility needs.
Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently.
Must be based in the Dallas / DFW area and authorized to work in the United States.
