Helper / Operations Support Assistant — Morning and Evening Split Shift Propel Logistics LLC | Houston, TX | $15 per hour Propel Logistics LLC is a high-performing Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) - we deliver Amazonns packages. We are growing our team and deliver with passion and precision. Safety is our top priority. Attitude is everything at Propel. We are looking for someone who brings a positive, helpful attitude to work, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in helping drivers and managers succeed each day. This hands-on role helps our managers open and close daily operations, prepares equipment and vehicles, and supports drivers before and after their routes. Schedule and pay $15 per hour, with paid training and paid overtime when applicable Approximately three hours in the morning and three hours in the evening on scheduled days Minimum availability of 20 hours per week; schedules may range up to 40 hours per week Seven-day availability is welcome, and the right candidate may be scheduled any day of the week Morning responsibilities Prepare and distribute driver phones, vehicle keys, charging cables, portable chargers, and other equipment. Check the daily roster, record attendance and on-time arrivals, and alert managers to any gaps. Troubleshoot equipment issues and swap out devices that are not working properly. Help coordinate vehicle swaps when an assigned van is unavailable or unfit for use, with manager approval. Assist drivers on the launch pad by retrieving carts, loading packages into vans, and addressing issues after loadout. Evening responsibilities Receive returning drivers, check vehicles for visible damage, and report concerns to management. Collect and account for all issued phones, keys, cables, chargers, and other equipment. Ensure drivers clean out their vans using the available brooms, leaf blowers, and cleaning supplies. Confirm drivers complete their daily time sheet sign-out. Store phones and equipment securely and plug in devices so they are ready for the next day. Fleet support Assist with minor vehicle tasks, such as replacing light bulbs or side mirrors, when trained and authorized. Drop off and pick up delivery vans for repairs as needed. Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to management. Basic requirements At least 21 years old and eligible to work in the United States Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles for fleet-related tasks Available for both the morning and evening portions of the schedule Able to work on your feet, move equipment, and help load delivery vehicles Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in helping others If you enjoy working with people and being the person a team can count on, we encourage you to apply.
