Job Description

A Job That Actually Matters Every day, our drivers get a family member to dialysis on time. They get a grandmother home from rehab safely. They're often the calmest, kindest part of someone's hardest day. Shannon NEMT is a family-owned Texas company — not a franchise, not a call center, not a gig app. We built our reputation with hospitals, dialysis centers, hospice providers, and skilled nursing facilities across Fort Worth by holding ourselves to a higher standard, and we do that through our drivers. If you're dependable, professional, and take real pride in helping people, we want you on our team. Why Drivers Choose Shannon NEMT ✅ Consistent, full-time hours — a predictable daily shift you can count on, not unpredictable gig work ✅ Performance bonuses on every paycheck — not just a once-a-year surprise ✅ Overtime opportunities when you want extra hours ✅ Paid time off after one year of service ✅ Paid training — no experience with wheelchair-accessible vehicles required ✅ Modern, well-maintained fleet — you're driving safe, reliable equipment, not a beat-up van ✅ Family-oriented culture — leadership that knows your name and has your back Available Shifts We're hiring across four shifts right now — pick the one that fits your life:

What You'll Actually Be Doing Safely transporting ambulatory and wheelchair patients to medical appointments, dialysis treatments, hospital discharges, and rehab facilities Helping passengers with patience and compassion — you're often the highlight of their day Keeping your assigned vehicle clean and ready to go Staying in easy communication with dispatch, healthcare staff, and families Quick pre/post-trip vehicle checks and standard safety procedures A Few Things to Know This is an active job, not a desk job. You'll be on your feet, walking hospital hallways, helping with wheelchair transfers, and getting in and out of the vehicle throughout your shift — in all kinds of weather. If you like being active and don't mind a physical day's work, this is a good fit. What You Need Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening A calm, patient, professional attitude Customer service or healthcare transportation experience is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person Ready to Join Us? We're hiring now and looking to fill positions quickly. If you show up on time, treat people with respect, and want a stable driving job with a company that actually values you — apply today.
