Job Description
Utah Valley University is seeking a student to assist the department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Load and unload surplus items from the vehicle, doing surplus pickups as needed. Drive to the building location and park alongside the walkway. Never block entry walkways. Deliver or pick up items from the assigned location, Verify the computer inventory of picked-up computers to be delivered to the computer shop for Hard Drive Wiping. Then install OS to prepare for the sale. Surplus Sale, Last Friday of each month, is a mandatory workday. Maintain Fuel and Fluids in Delivery Vehicles. (Oil is to be checked each Friday before starting the Vehicle.) Report any problems with the Delivery vehicle to your supervisor. Other Duties AS Assigned. Must be a current UVU student. Must have a valid driver's license and pass the State Driving Test. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs properly. Knowledge of package distribution methodology. Ability to operate a range of motor transport vehicles to transport packages. Ability to follow schedules and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently on a multi-task level and prioritize and follow projects through to completion.
