Job Description
Premier Power Electric, LLC is a growing commercial electrical subcontractor serving the Puget Sound region. We take pride in the quality of our work, the relationships we build, and the team we've created. We are currently seeking a Shop Assistant who enjoys staying organized, working with their hands, and supporting a fast-paced construction operation. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient shop environment. Every day is a little different—you'll help keep our shop organized, support field crews with materials and equipment, and play an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly. We offer a great work environment with easy access to I-5 and nearby amenities. Key Responsibilities The following duties reflect the general daily and weekly responsibilities of this position. They are not intended to be all-inclusive list. Prefab Job Assembly Assist with building, labeling, and organizing prefabricated components for pickup and delivery. Materials & Inventory Assist with inventory tracking and maintaining appropriate shop stock. Process returned job materials by restocking, recycling, selling, or disposing of materials in a timely and documented manner. Fleet & Construction Equipment Assist with inventory tracking, maintenance, and documentation of company vehicles and equipment. Coordinate delivery and pickup of equipment as needed. Help determine whether equipment should be repaired in-house or by an outside vendor. Ensure ALL vehicles have current registration, tabs, and insurance documentation. Safety Stock, organize, and maintain PPE and other safety supplies for field employees. Assist with keeping accurate safety records. Building & Grounds Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop and property. Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing shelves, and cleaning racks and bins. Security Ensure all security systems are operational and functioning properly. Identify and communicate potential building or property maintenance and security concerns. Logistical Support Onsite receiving, shipping, and delivering. Deliver and pick up materials, tools, and equipment from jobsites. Maintain daily and weekly delivery logs for job tracking purposes. Qualifications Driver's License and clean driving record (Required) Day Shift; 7:30am - 4:00pm with occasional overtime (Required) Basic computer skills Preferred Experience & Skills Previous experience working in a construction shop, warehouse, or other similar environment Mechanically inclined Welding experience Mechanical diagnostics or repair experience Equipment or vehicle detailing experience Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred If you're looking for a hands-on position where your work directly supports our field crews and helps keep projects moving, we'd love to hear from you.
