In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks and trailers to efficiently collect, transport, and dispose of debris and unwanted materials. Your expertise in driving, manual handling, and customer service will ensure smooth operations and satisfied clients. Duties Safely operate box trucks, trailers, and other commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Load and unload debris using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices Drive route-specific deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely completion of scheduled tasks Assist with warehouse operations including material handling, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas Interact professionally with customers during pickup and delivery appointments, providing excellent customer service Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, route details, and vehicle maintenance using mobile devices or onboard systems Assist with junk removal services, ranging from curbside pick up to full property clean outs.
