Live-In Family Assistant & Spanish Language Mentor Location:
Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi

Flexible About Our Family We are a warm, active family on the beautiful island of Kauai seeking a kind, responsible, Spanish-speaking live-in family assistant to become part of our home. Our two boys are entering 8th and 9th grade and have full schedules centered around school, golf, travel, and outdoor adventures. This role is less about traditional childcare and more about helping keep our busy household running smoothly while naturally incorporating Spanish into everyday life. Responsibilities School pick-up and drop-off Transportation to golf practices, tournaments, and activities Travel support when needed Prepare simple breakfasts, snacks, and occasional dinners Light laundry for the boys Light household organization and tidying Grocery runs and errands Encourage conversational Spanish throughout the day Be a positive mentor and role model What We Offer Private furnished bedroom Rent- and utility-free living Meals included Weekly stipend (DOE) Vehicle provided for work-related transportation Opportunity to explore Kauaʻi and neighboring islands Flexible schedule with substantial daytime free time while the boys are in school Supportive, welcoming family environment Ideal Candidate Fluent Spanish speaker Excellent driving record and comfortable transporting teenagers Responsible, organized, and dependable Enjoys teenagers and an active family lifestyle Loves the outdoors, beach, hiking, and island living Proactive, warm, and positive Interested in a meaningful cultural exchange rather than simply a place to stay A Note From Our Family We hope to welcome someone who will become part of our family's story.
