Chula Vista and throughout San Diego County About Us D'Core Home Staging is a busy San Diego home-staging company that installs and removes furniture, artwork, and accessories in homes throughout the county. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver/Furniture Mover to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with professional moving, furniture delivery, warehouse, or box-truck driving experience. Our projects take place inside clients' homes and active real-estate listings, so professionalism, attention to detail, and care with furniture and property are extremely important. Responsibilities Safely drive a 16-foot box truck to properties throughout San Diego County Load and unload furniture, artwork, rugs, accessories, and staging inventory Properly secure furniture and other inventory inside the truck Assist with staging installations and furniture pickups Move furniture carefully without damaging inventory, walls, floors, or clients' homes Wrap, protect, organize, and return inventory to the warehouse Keep the truck, warehouse, and work areas clean and organized Follow daily schedules and communicate clearly with the team Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns Represent D'Core Home Staging professionally while at clients' properties Requirements Valid California driver's license Clean driving record and ability to meet our commercial auto insurance requirements Previous experience safely driving a box truck or similar vehicle Reliable transportation to and from our Chula Vista warehouse Dependable, punctual, and able to consistently arrive on time Able to perform physically demanding work throughout the day Able to lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds, using team lifting or moving equipment when appropriate Comfortable using dollies, furniture pads, straps, ramps, and other moving equipment Able to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team Professional and respectful when working inside occupied and vacant homes Available for a variable weekday schedule based on staging projects Preferred Qualifications Previous professional moving, furniture-delivery, warehouse, or home-staging experience English and Spanish bilingual ability is a strong plus Experience protecting, wrapping, loading, and securing furniture Familiarity with San Diego County roads and neighborhoods Compensation $22
