Humble Design San Diego seeks a dynamic, empathetic, creative team member to design welcoming, personalized homes for our clients leaving homelessness. This position is critical to the delivery of our mission to provide dignity, security, and joy to our neighbors as they begin the next hopeful chapters of their lives. This is an ON-CALL position.

Warehouse:

Monday and throughout week as needed to prepare all items for client's home (approximately 7 hours/day) At the clients' homes: on designated installation day (approximately 7 hours/day) Days and hourly breakdown subject to change as we refine our schedule The ideal candidate will: Have a positive, friendly and can-do attitude. Be a passionate advocate for the organization. Be understanding and empathetic, especially when talking with clients. Be resourceful and scrappy. Everything is donated; we work with what we have. Be humble. This is a service position with responsibility to all people connected to the Humble Design mission. Lead with integrity. Direct and guide volunteers in a kind and communicative way. Be comfortable moving and lifting furniture, boxes and decor every day in a warehouse environment.
