Hiring Event- Warming Center Staff October 7, 2026 12:00 PM - 3:00
PM Where:
Location is to be determined! Good Samaritan Shelter is hiring On-Call Warming Center Staff to support individuals experiencing homelessness and help provide a safe, welcoming environment. Our Warming Center provides a safe, welcoming space during the colder and wetter months, typically November 15 through March 31 . When temperatures drop or there is a high chance of rain, our team may be activated to open the center. Staff are generally notified approximately 48 hours in advance. This is a low-barrier program and a great opportunity to support our community, give back, and help ensure people have a warm and safe place to go when they need it most. On-the-spot interviews On-call opportunities
Shifts:
6:00 PM - 6:00 AM 48 hours' advance notice for activations
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED Background check, TB test & drug screening Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassion and professionalism Bring your updated résumé and meet our team!
Pay:
$21.00 per hour
