Job Overview We are seeking energetic and reliable Mover/Packer team members to join our dynamic moving and logistics crew. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth, efficient relocations by safely packing, loading, and transporting items for our valued customers. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help deliver a seamless moving experience, while adhering to safety standards and traffic regulations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop practical skills in warehouse operations, manual handling, and delivery driving within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely load and unload household or commercial items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Pack belongings securely with appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit Operate various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks or personal vehicles for local moves or deliveries Follow established route plans, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Assist with warehouse operations by organizing inventory, managing supplies, and maintaining a clean workspace Load and unload trucks efficiently while practicing safe lifting practices to prevent injury Communicate professionally with customers during delivery or pickup to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns Requirements Valid driver's license with experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles; a personal vehicle for delivery is a plus Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and mobile devices for route management Familiarity with adhering to traffic regulations, DOT guidelines, and safety protocols during transportation tasks Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during deliveries or pickups Join our team today to be part of a lively environment where your efforts directly contribute to helping people move forward!
