Duties:

• Perform physical labor to assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of household or commercial goods
• Safely and efficiently pack, wrap, and secure items to prevent damage during transportation
• Drive company vehicles, such as box trucks or vans, to transport goods to designated locations
• Follow established routes or use GPS to navigate to customer locations
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth moving process
• Use manual transmission vehicles as needed
• Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment to load and unload heavy items

Skills:

• Experience in moving or related fields is preferred but not required
• Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including manual transmission
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
• Familiarity with using GPS devices for navigation
• Knowledge of proper packing and securing techniques for safe transportation of goods
• Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus
