Tues-Sat 8:30a-5:00p Job Overview We are seeking energetic and reliable Movers to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting furniture, equipment, and supplies, as well as assisting with moving tasks across various locations to our Thrift Stores. Your proactive attitude and strong work ethic will help ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery. Duties Load, unload, and transport furniture, supplies, and equipment safely using appropriate moving tools such as dollies, pallet jacks when necessary Assist with packing, wrapping, and securing items for safe transportation Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and team members during moves Perform heavy lifting of boxes, furniture, crates, and other items required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and storage areas Follow safety protocols including proper lifting techniques and vehicle operation procedures Requirements Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving or box trucks is a plus, must be able to drive truck as needed Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently and safely throughout shifts Familiarity with moving equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to safety standards Join our team to make a difference in the lives of animals while developing your skills in moving and customer service!
