In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely packing, loading, and unloading items for customers, ensuring their belongings are handled with care and precision. Your proactive approach will help facilitate smooth moves, efficient deliveries, and exceptional customer service. Whether you're assisting with residential or commercial moves, this position offers a lively environment where teamwork and physical activity are key to making every move a success. Responsibilities Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing appropriate packing materials and methods Assist with moving furniture and boxes in a timely manner, ensuring careful handling of delicate or heavy items Operate commercial vehicles like box trucks or drivers' vehicles to transport goods between locations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or moving site to promote safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to plan routes for delivery or pickup, ensuring timely arrivals and departures Load and unload trucks efficiently using manual transmission driving skills and route driving experience Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about delivery times and handling special requests Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse work, moving services, or delivery driving is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to lift heavy objects safely and repeatedly throughout the shift Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Ability to work physically demanding shifts that involve manual labor, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods Experience with route driving or courier services is advantageous but not required Join us in delivering outstanding service while staying active!
