About the Role We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Furniture Delivery & Assembly Helper to join our team. In this role, you will work as part of a two-person crew to deliver and assemble furniture for our customers. This is a physically demanding position that requires heavy lifting, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Assist driver in loading, unloading, and delivering furniture to customer locations Assemble furniture on-site using basic hand tools and following manufacturer instructions Safely lift and move items weighing up to 300 lbs as part of a two-person team Ensure items are delivered without damage and placed in the correct location in the customer's home or business Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and work area Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner, addressing questions or concerns Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of moving equipment Required Qualifications Ability to start work at 5:00 AM and work extended hours as needed Capable of assisting with lifting and moving items weighing up to 300 lbs as part of a two-person team (using proper equipment and techniques) Experience with basic hand tools and furniture assembly Strong customer service and communication skills Reliability and punctuality in attendance and performance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in furniture delivery, moving, or assembly Familiarity with safe lifting practices and use of moving equipment (dollies, straps, etc.) Basic problem-solving skills for on-site assembly or delivery challenges Positive attitude and professional appearance when interacting with customers
