Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Mover/Packer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely packing, loading, and unloading items for residential and commercial moves. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a smooth moving process, providing excellent customer service while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing proper packing materials and techniques. Operate various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles for local deliveries. Assist with warehouse operations, including organizing inventory and preparing items for moving or delivery. Follow all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations during route driving to ensure safe delivery. Load and unload trucks efficiently while practicing safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques. Communicate professionally with customers, providing excellent customer service throughout the moving or delivery process. Requirements Previous warehouse experience or moving experience preferred but not required; training will be provided. Valid driver's license with commercial driving or courier experience highly desirable; ability to operate a box truck or manual transmission vehicle is a plus. Experience with delivery driving, route driving, or personal vehicle delivery preferred. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and load & unload procedures. Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation (such as pallet jacks), and safe lifting practices. Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation and communication during deliveries. Adherence to traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and safety protocols at all times.
