Duties Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other household or commercial items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Assist customers with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit Operate commercial vehicles like box trucks or drivers' trucks for local or long-distance moves Drive route-specific vehicles with manual transmissions while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload trucks efficiently using tools such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety standards are maintained Coordinate with team members to organize items for optimal space utilization in trucks and storage areas Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about move timelines, procedures, and any special requirements Qualifications Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is highly preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining good physical condition Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Experience with route driving or courier services is advantageous Knowledge of safety protocols related to moving operations and vehicle operation Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values hard work, professionalism, and delivering outstanding service!
