• As a Driver/ Mover, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the transportation and relocation of goods and personal belongings. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for loading and unloading items safely and efficiently while ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
• Duties
• Safely load and unload items from trucks, vans, or other vehicles.
• On occasion-Operate box trucks or vans, including manual transmission vehicles when necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Use equipment such as pallet jacks to move heavy items within warehouses or loading areas.
• Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed to facilitate smooth transitions for customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the moving vehicle and work area.
• Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage during the moving process.
• Skills
• Experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks or vans.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading procedures.
• Proficiency in using equipment like pallet jacks for efficient movement of goods.
• Capability to lift heavy items safely and work on your feet for extended periods.
