Job Overview We are seeking energetic and dependable Movers/Packer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be at the forefront of helping clients transition smoothly by safely packing, loading, transporting, and unloading their belongings. Duties Safely pack and secure household or commercial items using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit Load and unload items from trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and adherence to safe lifting practices Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies to move heavy or bulky items efficiently Drive box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards for commercial vehicle operation Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, material handling, and maintaining a clean workspace Load, transport, and deliver items to designated locations using route driving skills and mobile devices for navigation and communication Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about delivery times, handling instructions, and addressing any concerns professionally Experience Previous warehouse experience or moving industry background preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Valid driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving or van/delivery driving preferred Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices in urban or rural settings Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper manual handling techniques Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace is a plus Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift, carry, and maneuver items over extended periods Join us if you're ready to move forward in a role that combines physical activity with customer interaction!
