Job Overview We are a small wood and metal fabrication company making custom furniture. Furniture pieces include dining tables, side tables, coffee tables, consoles, countertops, shelves, benches, chairs, and more. We are looking for someone to come in 2-3 days per week to assist with deliveries and assembly, and light shop duties. Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles including vans, and personal vehicles for local deliveries Wrap the pieces of furniture with moving blankets and load into the van. Deliveries range from all of MA, NH, VT, ME, RI, and sometimes CT or NY. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs promptly Provide excellent customer service by delivering products accurately and professionally, answering questions, and ensuring client satisfaction Assist with shop operations including moving materials, sweeping, sanding wood, finishing (oil/wax) pieces of furniture Requirements Heavy lifting Valid driver's license Ability to perform manual lifting safely following proper lifting practices; comfortable with heavy lifting as needed Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude; able to communicate effectively with clients and team members Physical ability to stand, walk, load/unload materials This role offers an engaging work environment where your driving skills and manual dexterity will make a tangible impact.
