Job Description

Staging Design DC is looking for reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented team members to join our growing crew. We support home stagings, furniture installations, and high-end events such as weddings, corporate events, galas, executive meetings, and private celebrations across the DMV area. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and working in different locations. What You'll Do Load, transport, unload, and place furniture, décor, rugs, artwork, and staging materials. Assist with home stagings and destagings based on layout plans and designer instructions. Help with event setups and breakdowns at homes, venues, and commercial spaces. Handle all items with care, especially in luxury homes and high-end venues. Protect furniture using moving blankets, plastic wrap, straps, and company procedures. Follow company standards for packing, loading, transportation, and quality control. Work closely with designers, event coordinators, managers, and other crew members. Help keep projects on schedule while maintaining a professional attitude. Support warehouse work such as cleaning, organizing, restocking, minor repairs, and inventory support. Drive 16 ft to 26 ft box trucks when needed, if qualified. Use smartphone apps for schedules, maps, communication, and job updates. What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, and ready to work. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfortable with physical work and fast-paced environments. Good teamwork and communication skills. Able to follow instructions and pay attention to details. Professional when working around clients, homes, and event venues. Comfortable using a smartphone and basic apps. Authorized to work in the U.S. Able to commute to our warehouse in Beltsville, MD . Must speak English. Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus. Experience That Helps Previous experience in any of the following is a strong plus: Moving Furniture delivery Event setup Warehouse work Logistics Furniture installation Home staging Driving box trucks A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is strongly preferred. Experience driving 16 ft to 26 ft box trucks is a plus. DOT card is a plus. If you do not have one, we may be able to help qualified candidates obtain it.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
