Responsibilities Safely load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and box trucks Pack items securely for transport, ensuring protection during transit Operate commercial trucks and vans in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Drive route vehicles including box trucks and personal vehicles for delivery or moving services Assist with warehouse operations, including inventory management and material handling Load and unload items efficiently, adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries or moves, providing excellent customer service throughout the process Experience Previous warehouse experience or moving background preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate Experience operating commercial trucks, vans, or box trucks is highly desirable, but not required. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and delivery driving is a plus Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling safety standards Ability to adhere to traffic regulations, DOT guidelines, and workplace safety protocols Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation or communication during deliveries or moves Demonstrated ability to handle physical tasks involving weight handling in the workplace with efficiency and care Join us in a fast-paced environment where your energy makes a difference!
