EXPERIENCED FINAL MILE DELIVERY HELPER

Experience:
Minimum two years required Precision Transport Company is seeking an experienced Final Mile Delivery Helper to assist with delivering appliances and other large retail merchandise. We value safety, dependability, teamwork, professionalism, and respect for every customer's home. We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job correctly and providing excellent service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, and placing large merchandise Protect customers' homes and merchandise from damage Assist with basic assembly, setup, and approved appliance connections Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, diagrams, and manufacturer instructions safely Help identify and troubleshoot basic delivery or installation issues Inspect merchandise, complete delivery documentation, and communicate professionally with customers and the delivery team
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum two years of final-mile, appliance, furniture, moving, or similar delivery experience Reliable transportation to the Romulus location Available to begin work at 7:00 a.m. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with appliance installation or equipment troubleshooting Experience with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and basic assembly Ability to perform repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling as part of a two-person team Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable, punctual, professional, and customer-focused Smartphone with dependable service Ability to pass a background check Knowledge of Maintenance, Repair and Operations—or MRO—practices is a plus
PAY AND GROWTH
Starting pay is $150 per workday Performance reviews begin after 60 days, with opportunities for merit-based pay increases Pay growth is based on attendance, punctuality, safety, customer service, teamwork, damage prevention, and overall performance Route length may vary depending on delivery volume, mileage, traffic, weather, and customer requirements.
