is looking for a reliable and hardworking Appliance Delivery Helper / Installer to join our final-mile delivery team in Joplin, MO. You will work as part of a two-person delivery team assisting the driver with delivering, installing, and removing appliances and other merchandise from customers' homes. This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable lifting and moving heavy appliances, working inside customers' homes, and providing professional customer service. Duties Assist with loading and unloading appliances Deliver refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, and other merchandise Assist with appliance installation and hookups Remove old appliances when required Use a dolly and shoulder straps to safely move heavy appliances Protect customers' floors, walls, doors, and property during deliveries Inspect products for damage before delivery Keep the truck and equipment organized Communicate professionally with customers and the delivery team Follow all company and job-site safety procedures Requirements Must be reliable and show up on time Must be physically able to lift and move heavy appliances with a partner Must be comfortable using a dolly and shoulder straps Must be willing to learn final-mile appliance delivery and installation Must be able to work a physically demanding schedule Must pass required background screening and drug screening Experience is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right person
