Charlotte, NC Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Safety regulations Driver's License Transportation safety regulations Full Job Description Drivers are responsible for actively participating in all aspects of commercial and residential moving projects. At RCS our Drivers are critical ambassadors to our customers. Drivers transport box trucks as needed. Additionally, they pitch-in as needed throughout each job. Driver positions are physically demanding jobs that also combine driving expertise. Each member of our team must show up every day ready to work hard. Our days are planned meticulously to ensure we have the resources we need to get the job done. It is critical to show up on time as expected. While at work we expect our people to be "masters of communication" with Operational Leadership. Drivers are expected to champion all phases of each job while upholding RCS standards regardless of the project type. Professional & courteous relationships with our customers set RCS apart in our industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record 2 years of commercial driving experience Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety regulations Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 100lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks. Reliable and dependable Excellent communication skills Able to thrive on a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large moving trucks and specialized moving equipment Previous safety training (PPE/Safe Lifting etc.) Prior customer service experience Familiarity with local area and route planning

Responsibilities:

Operate moving trucks safely and efficiently Lifting, carrying, load/unload, packing/unpacking Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure proper maintenance and prompt reporting of issues Communicate with customers to coordinate pick-up and delivery while addressing any concerns. Disassemble and reassemble furniture, fixtures and other equipment Furniture installation and placement as directed Follow all safety policies and procedures (PPE/Safe Lifting etc.) Report incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately Daily completion of administrative duties (timesheets/job documentation)
