Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mover and be a vital part of our logistics and warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely handling, loading, unloading, and transporting goods within our distribution center. Your efforts will ensure smooth warehouse distribution, accurate order picking, and efficient inventory management. This position offers an engaging environment where physical activity and teamwork drive success. Whether operating heavy equipment or manually handling materials, your contribution will keep our operations running seamlessly and safely. Responsibilities Safely load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes. Assist with order picking activities using RF scanners and manual methods to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Transport materials throughout the warehouse using heavy equipment operation skills while adhering to safety protocols. Organize inventory by stacking, sorting, and storing goods in designated areas following warehouse procedures. Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing items for dispatch or receipt, ensuring proper documentation. Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Collaborate with team members to load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring timely delivery schedules are met. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related warehouse operations. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, crane systems, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely. Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and materials handling techniques. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks consistently throughout shifts. Familiarity with RF scanners, basic math skills for inventory counts, and shipping & receiving procedures. Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Commitment to safety protocol adherence in compliance with OSHA standards.
