Job Summary Moving Assistants needed to start
IMMEDIATELY
for these summer projects! Moving college dorms and offices. Must be very clean cut in appearance, have a clean driving and background check, available Tuesdays through Sundays from 7:30am to 7:30pm, and have the ability to lift over 100 lbs. with your team of 3-4 assistants. You will ensure a smooth and efficient moving operations by assisting with loading, unloading, and transporting goods and equipment. Attention to safety is also very important as well as a positive attitude experience for clients and team members alike. This is PERFECT for High School Seniors with a work permit and College Students who want to make GREAT money before going back to school! Responsibilities Safely load and unload items using various materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes Assist with the organization and inventory management of warehouse stock using RF scanners and warehouse management systems Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, crane, and other material handling tools following strict safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards Support order picking processes with precision, ensuring accurate selection using pickers and other order fulfillment systems Load and unload shipments efficiently, verifying quantities through basic math calculations and inventory checks Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to safety procedures during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Collaborate with team members to coordinate shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or shipping & receiving environments Skilled in operating warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, crane, and load & unload machinery Knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management systems and warehouse management system (WMS) software Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to OSHA safety protocols Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks throughout shifts Construction or warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership opportunities Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and load calculations Please text 336-448-9892 or email your resume to leigh@acquirepps.com for
