About Genie Senior Services At Genie Senior Services, we specialize in helping seniors and families through every stage of the moving process. We provide compassionate moving, downsizing, packing, and relocation services with professionalism, respect, and care. We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who take pride in helping people during important life transitions and want to be part of a supportive team. Position Summary We are seeking dependable and motivated Mover / Packers and a Team Leader to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a team that helps clients move safely and efficiently. As a Mover, / Packer you will support the moving crew by handling furniture and household belongings with care, assisting with loading and unloading, and ensuring every move is completed professionally and safely. While this is an on-call position based on business needs, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a part time role to start, then growing with the company. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with residential moves, downsizing projects, and relocation services.
  • Safely lift, carry, load, and unload furniture and household items.
  • Properly wrap, protect, and handle clients' belongings.
  • Follow instructions from the Team Lead to ensure moves are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with clients.
  • Provide respectful and compassionate service, especially when assisting senior clients.
  • Keep work areas, equipment, and moving trucks clean and organized. Qualifications
  • Previous moving, delivery, or physically demanding work experience is an asset.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Customer-focused and professional attitude.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items throughout the day.
  • Comfortable working flexible, on-call schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends.
