This is a hands-on position that requires safe driving, physical strength, customer service skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
ResponsibilitiesSafely operate company moving trucks and vehicles that do not require a CDL.Drive to customer locations throughout New Jersey and surrounding areas.
Transport furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household or commercial items safely.
Assist movers with loading, unloading, lifting, carrying, and placement of items.
Properly secure furniture and other belongings inside the truck to prevent damage during transportation.
Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
Communicate professionally with customers throughout the moving process.
Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip and report any maintenance or safety issues.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, deliveries, and required paperwork.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Work flexible schedules, including weekends and overtime when required. Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry 50+ lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and climb stairs for extended periods.
Ability to work in different weather conditions.
Ability to safely handle furniture and other household items. QualificationsQualificationsValid New Jersey Driver's License - Class D or equivalent valid driver's license.
CDL is not required.
Clean and safe driving record preferred.
Previous moving, delivery, transportation, or driving experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to safely operate a moving truck.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Ability to work independently and as part of a moving crew.
Must be comfortable working weekends and flexible hours.
Additional Information Monday-SundayWeekend availability required/preferred.
