Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Furniture Delivery Helper to join our residential furniture delivery team. This is a 1099 contract position operating out of Dayton, NJ. You will work as part of a 2-3 person delivery team, assisting with furniture deliveries to customers' homes. Pay $900 per week Tips in addition to weekly pay 6-day workweek Holiday bonus opportunities Consistent work Schedule Must report to the warehouse in Dayton, NJ at 4:30 AM 6 days per week Routes end when scheduled deliveries are completed Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading furniture Carry and place furniture inside customers' homes Handle furniture carefully to prevent damage Assist the driver throughout the delivery route Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with customers Keep delivery equipment and work areas organized Work efficiently as part of a 2-3 person team Requirements Must be reliable and punctual Must be able to report to the Dayton, NJ warehouse by 4:30 AM Must be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy furniture Must be comfortable with stairs and residential deliveries Good customer service and teamwork skills Furniture delivery, moving, or similar experience is preferred but not required No CDL required
