Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mover/Packer/Driver and be a vital part of delivering exceptional service to our customers! This energetic role combines physical movement, packing, and safe driving to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods. Duties Safely load, unload, and pack items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Operate commercial vehicles including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery purposes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or GPS systems to ensure timely arrivals Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, ensuring safe weight distribution and adherence to weight handling standards Provide excellent customer service by delivering items directly to clients' locations with professionalism and courtesy Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections; complete shift reports as required Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual transmission operation, warehouse operations, and workplace safety practices Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, moving, or delivery driving roles with a focus on manual handling and heavy lifting Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred; ability to operate box trucks or vans with manual transmission is a plus Familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts for efficient load management Knowledge of DOT regulations and traffic laws applicable to commercial driving and delivery routes Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally during deliveries Ability to lift heavy objects safely while following safe lifting practices; physically fit for manual handling tasks Experience using mobile devices for route navigation or delivery documentation is advantageous Reliable transportation such as a personal vehicle for delivery purposes if applicable Join us in delivering excellence!
