Duties Safely load, unload, pack, and unpack items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Assist customers with their moving needs by providing friendly, professional service and ensuring their belongings are handled with care Use mobile devices to document inventory, track deliveries, and communicate effectively with team members during route driving Load and secure items properly in trucks to prevent damage during transit, following weight handling guidelines in the workplace Assist with warehouse operations including organizing materials, preparing items for shipment or storage, and maintaining a clean workspace Load & unload goods efficiently during delivery routes while adhering to safe lifting practices and weight limits Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Experience driving commercial trucks or box trucks, especially with manual transmissions Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a courier or delivery driver is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently using proper techniques Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace Skilled in manual handling equipment operation such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification is a plus) Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries and moves Ability to follow route instructions accurately while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional moving services.
