Driver/Mover

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver/Mover to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, furniture, and equipment while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and courier vans to deliver goods across designated routes. Load and unload items using heavy lifting techniques, pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual handling methods. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Assist with moving furniture or equipment in residential or commercial settings, ensuring items are transported securely. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance needs, and adhere to all safety protocols. Maintain clear documentation of deliveries, pickups, and route logs for accountability and efficiency. Communicate professionally with customers and team members to coordinate schedules and address any delivery concerns. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or mover with excellent route driving skills. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or similar sized vehicles with manual transmission. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently during loading/unloading tasks. Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and moving tools is preferred. Knowledge of safety regulations related to driving and material handling.
