Job Description

DISS Restoration is a growing restoration company serving Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. We help residential and commercial customers recover from water, fire, smoke, mold, and other property damage. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Contents Cleaning Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for carefully handling, documenting, cleaning, packing, and returning customers' personal belongings following a property loss. Responsibilities Pack, inventory, photograph, label, and transport customers' belongings Clean and deodorize contents affected by water, fire, smoke, soot, or other damage Separate salvageable and non-salvageable items Properly wrap, box, label, and store cleaned contents Assist with pack-outs and pack-backs at residential and commercial properties Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records Safely operate cleaning equipment and use approved cleaning products Keep the contents cleaning area, vehicles, and equipment organized Handle customers' belongings carefully and respectfully Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and project managers Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment Perform other restoration-related duties as assigned Qualifications Previous contents cleaning, restoration, housekeeping, warehouse, or moving experience is helpful but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team Comfortable working in homes and businesses affected by property damage Able to follow written and verbal instructions Basic smartphone and technology skills for photographs and documentation Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Must be able to pass applicable pre-employment screening requirements Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and climb stairs throughout the workday Ability to wear personal protective equipment when required Ability to work in environments that may contain dust, odors, soot, moisture, or temperature changes What We Offer Consistent, full-time work Paid training Opportunities for advancement Supportive team environment Restoration-industry training and certifications Competitive compensation based on experience Additional benefits discussed during the interview process Apply Today If you take pride in your work, pay close attention to details, and want to help customers recover after property damage, we would like to hear from you.
