Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mover/Packer and be a vital part of delivering exceptional service through efficient moving, packing, and transportation support. You will be responsible for handling items safely, organizing materials, and assisting with transportation logistics to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Duties Safely load, unload, pack, and unpack items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Assist with moving furniture, boxes, and equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling regulations Operate various vehicles including box trucks and vans for local deliveries, following all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Drive commercial trucks or personal vehicles for delivery purposes, maintaining a clean driving record and demonstrating proficiency with manual transmissions when applicable Organize warehouse inventory, ensuring items are stored correctly and efficiently for easy access during loading or unloading processes Use mobile devices to document delivery or packing activities accurately, update route information, and communicate with team members Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas while adhering to safety protocols and warehouse procedures Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Experience in commercial driving or delivery driving using box trucks or vans is highly desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or personal vehicle delivery is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper techniques; familiarity with manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe driving practices for load & unload operations Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively during deliveries or relocations Comfortable working in physically demanding environments requiring manual handling, heavy lifting, and material movement Proficient in the use of mobile devices for route navigation, documentation, and communication Join us in delivering outstanding service through energetic teamwork!
